I'm Yousef, a seasoned writer fitted with six years of experience. I'm a sophomore at the Department of English Language & Literature of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University. My experience is composed of a plethora of editorial positions, from writing to supervising and, finally, managing. I've freelanced for multiple English publications, including DualShockers, WhatIfGaming, KeenGamer, and THESPIKE.GG.
I started by volunteering in upcoming Arabic-speaking publications at a young age. Somewhere around 2020, I moved to freelancing for English-speaking outlets. Although most of my experience exists within the bounds of gaming, it isn't limited to it. I was offered some freedom at some outlets like KeenGamer and DualShocker to write about movies and TV shows. Granted, most of them were about superheroes, but that was more thematically aligned to publications that almost exclusively covered video games.
Cinema enthuses me beyond the big screen. I'm generally into filmmaking and usually obsess about much of what's behind the scenes. I appreciate it deeply as a craft, a form of art, and entertainment. The range of movies that pique my interest is not limited to certain genres, eras, or even countries—apart from making me seem like an annoying know-it-all, it fuels my versatility and scope of coverage.
